Weekly Event Golf Series Championship
2024 Championship Cup Course and Dates Finalized.
What is the Championship Cup? The Championship Cup for 2024 is a 36 hole event created for the top point earners of the Weekly Event Series. Eligibility for this season ending event is determined by the Weekly Event Series overall point standings and played at the end of the season in October. Each TotalGolf18 participant must play in a minimum of 8 events to be eligible for the official overall standings. VIEW 2024 RESULTS
The top 10 golfers in the season series overall points standings will earn a spot to play in the Championship Cup. If a player has earned a spot, but cannot attend, that spot will be offered to the next person in the standings until 10 players have committed. Additional golfers will be invited to fill out the field of the event based on pariticipation in the weekly event series. Registration fee will apply to participate in the Championship Cup. Participants will be divided into five (5) teams of four (4) players this year using random selection process of current TotalGolf18 Score Index on file. Total Team Scoring through different playing formats will be used to decide Championship Cup winner. Rounds of golf, cart fee and side games participation will be included with your registration.
PRICE. Participants pay $100 to attend Championship event.
INCLUDES. Participants will receive 36 holes of golf, cart fee, range balls each day and Team Game prizes.
SCORING. Point System will be used by calculating current Score Index into Player Point Total per round.
FORMAT. To be determined each day using the following different formats.
Play Your Own Ball involves each player on the team plays his own golf ball throughout the round. Player earn points based on the following: 4 Points for Eagle. 3 Points for Birdie. 2 Points for Par. 1 Point for Bogey. 0 Points for Double Bogey. -1 Points for Triple Bogey. Point System will be used by calculating current Score Index into Player Point Total per round.
Two Man Team Scramble involves 2-person teams where each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The two players then play from that spot within one club length of the selected spot until completing the hole. Minimum of 6 drives per person on team must be used. Team Point Total will be used by calculating current Score Index for both players into one Point Total.
Price does NOT include Skins Game on TUesday, October 22, 2024.
Complete itinerary and rules of play for each event will be provided to all participants before event.
